About Cheshire Wags
Based in Sale, Cheshire – Cheshire Wags (Wash and Groom Service), is a mobile dog grooming salon. We will come to your door and groom your dog on, or close to, your own premises entirely within our own van. We are veterinary-trained, City and Guilds standard and also registered to micro-chip and scan. We regularly attend technique and development seminars to continually improve our skills and service.
Our aim is to provide the best grooming service for your dog, with the least disturbance to you. The Cheshire Wags van is equipped with large hydro bath and electrically heated shower, salon-professional drying and grooming equipment, excellent safety features and remains stationary whilst your dog is groomed. All we need from you, is a safe and legal space to park, access to one electrical socket, consent to groom your dog as required, and of course your dog!
Our facilities are suitable for most breeds and crosses (and puppies of course) and we can provide anything from a simple shampoo and blow-dry to a show-stopping full clip and styling. With a full groom we carry out a basic health check, nail clipping, ear cleaning/plucking, with specialist hand-stripping and scissor-finishes booked on request.
An average full groom will take around two hours, with specialist finishes requiring a longer appointment time. Our dog grooming prices are based on size, breed, grooming-style and time required. A handstrip will take a double appointment time and is charged accordingly.

Cheshire Wags is based in Sale, Cheshire – we cover Sale and the surrounding area. We endeavour to make grooming appointments covering adjacent areas on the same day, thereby avoiding traffic delays and disruptions.
